Android is Out!

It's official — BetterPlane is now available on the Google Play Store! On January 17th we hit a huge milestone by bringing the app to Android, meaning that aircraft owners can now access their maintenance logbooks from either platform. This has been one of the most requested things since day one, and I'm thrilled to finally deliver it.
Whether you're on iOS or Android, the experience is the same: your aircraft, logbooks, alerts, and documents are all synced and ready to go.
Version 1.4.0 is Live
The current public release, version 1.4.0, is live on both iOS and Android. This version brings several frequently requested features:
- Multi-page scanning — You can now scan multiple logbook pages in a single session, making it much faster to digitize your maintenance records.
- Logbook page sharing — Share individual logbook pages directly from the app, perfect for sending records to your mechanic or a prospective buyer.
- Demo mode — Curious about BetterPlane but not ready to commit? Demo mode lets you explore the app with a pre-loaded aircraft and sample logbook pages so you can see exactly how everything works before signing up.
Beta 1.5.3 — What’s Coming Next
For those on the beta track, version 1.5.3 includes some great improvements that will be rolling out to everyone soon:
- Alert completion and acknowledgment tools for better maintenance tracking.
- Improved document upload experience.
- Better error messaging so you always know what’s happening.
- Network reliability and stability improvements.
- Various bug fixes affecting extraction processes.
